SFC Summer Social: Swap It Like It's Hot

SFC_Swap

Join us on Sunday, August 26th for an interactive clothing swap meet! Swap partners The Alley will help us facilitate an exchange with the goal of maximizing the quality and results of the swap for each attendee.

Bring 2-5 items in your wardrobe that you no longer need. Clothing, shoes, and accessories for women or unisex. Please bring items in good condition -- minor imperfections O.K. if clearly noted ahead of time. No money will be exchanged. Reminder to bring your own bag for “new-to-you” items to take home!

For Swap RSVP: Bring 2-5 items in your wardrobe that you no longer need. Clothing, shoes, and accessories for women or unisex. BYOBag.

For Social RSVP: No need to bring anything but yourself! Feel free to invite a friend!

We are beyond fortunate to know and support sustainable and ethical brands resetting the standard for the clothes we buy and wear. It is also important for us to remember and share that clothing swapped or purchased second-hand is ultra-sustainable, because the materials and resources have already been used in producing them. Extending the life of a garment for just 2 additional years reduces over 70% of the carbon, waste, and water footprints.[source] This month, we invite SFC members to bring items no longer in circulation in your wardrobe for a chance at a new life with another community member!
